Meet Dori

Founder and CEO,

RRG Leadership

I help leaders reduce overwhelm, handle feedback well, and build complain-free teams.

Ya’ know what makes work miserable? A leader who communicates poorly. Do you know why most people quit? Because they don’t work well with their leader.

My career has included both business and nonprofit leadership. I founded, grew, and sold an accounting services company while also dedicating more than two decades to leadership roles in nonprofit organizations.

It was through these experiences, I became convinced that truly effective communication happens when we rise above complaining, blaming, and negativity.

Why do I care so much about communication?

Communication = Connection

I grew up in a family where speaking up wasn’t encouraged. At an early age, I learned to keep silent—eventually silencing my own inner voice. Over the past two decades, I have worked hard to reclaim that voice and communicate my thoughts with confidence. Through dedicated effort running a small business and non-profit teams, I’ve become a skilled communicator with deep compassion for both the outspoken and the quite ones around me.

Miscommunication in workplaces and organizations is a major source of the loneliness and suffering many people feel today, quietly undermining our ability to enjoy a flourishing life. That’s why I’m on a mission—to help people communication well and truly connect!

Wake Up  •  Burn Up  •  Rise Up

My life has been shaped by both personal and professional challenges. A constant theme has been the need to radically clear out what wasn’t working, creating space for a renewal and reinvention. Now I’m soaring and helping others to live the life they’ve dreamed of!

Someday I’ll tell the whole story…

Why do I have a Phoenix logo?

Meet My Interns!

Parker and Pepper came into my life after my four children “flew the nest” and during covid lockdowns. These adorable cavapoos have been assigned very important tasks: radiating presence, reducing loneliness in my home office, encouraging brain breaks, and taking walks in nature.

My Other Interests:

Reading faster than my book stack grows, Life Time Fitness classes, traveling with my spouse, supporting four amazing adult children, deep conversations with friends, centering practice, improving my cooking, keeping plants alive, podcasts, business owner group activities, volunteering for good causes (like being on my HOA Board), storytelling, cloud watching, and making a difference in the world one conversation at a time.
